It takes over 2,000 volunteer hours, and almost 14 months, to plan Canada Blooms - and it's our volunteers who make the show such a success.

Over 1,000 people - people who love gardening and meeting new friends - volunteer at Canada Blooms. We'd like to introduce you to some of our volunteers; volunteers who work on our committees and volunteers who help out at the show just because they love it.

"I started going to Canada Blooms four years ago at the invitation of some friends and my niece. It was so wonderful...a bright spot in the middle of dreary winter! I've been to flower shows all around the States and was so impressed with Canada Blooms. Canada Blooms is right up there with the best. I enjoyed going so much, and was so impressed with the people involved with the show that I wanted to show my appreciation and support, so in my third year I became a volunteer. It was fun meeting other volunteers, and very rewarding working with people from all over Canada, the US and Europe. I plan to make this an annual event. I've started to feel like an honorary Canadian..everyone makes me feel so welcome and such a part of a great team!"
